Primary Structure
Wanås Foundation, Sweden 2011

The different parts of Primary Structure seem to be engaged in a constructivist ballet. The whole structure is based on a rectangular shape. This shape is then repeated. Reminiscent of building blocks or the Lego bricks that children amuse themselves with in their primary years, the modular design cajoles us into thinking in terms of fragments constituting a whole. Both children and adults can interact with this work at Wanås Sculpture Park.
